This is my gorgeous son Patrick who hates to have his photo taken. When I get a good photo I cherish it, I love this one. I have used the beautifully feminine shabby chic collection from Kaisercraft called Cottage Rose. If you have not seen it go hunt it out, it is  so pretty. I used the grey/green tones  - I mean, after all, my son is ....a guy! Anyway, hope you like and it inspires you to get creative. Cottage Rose Collection for Kasiercraft is so soft and pretty, real shabby chic. I just love this layout which I used the new sketched Rose Embossing folder to create a sweet background and created glorious flower sprays too. Embossing Folder EF241. This is a stunning embossing folder which can be used in so many ways. For my card, I embossed it on white card and then coloured it with Kaiser ink pads mixed with some water, (see pic below). I then masked the outside area and sprayed with spray adhesive, sprinkled on micro fine clear glitter and then fixed it with a fixitive spray. Have you tried making your own flowers from Kaisercrafts Paper Flowers? Super easy and they look wonderful! Simply select one large green flower, (for the bottom) and in your chosen flower colour choose two large, two medium and two small. Scrunch them up in your hand and then gently layer them on top of each other. Punch a hole through the middle and pop through some stamens. Glue the petals together as you scrunch them upwards.
