Collettes Cards

This simple layout was made by making holes with my eyelet setter and backing with different coloured card!

You know how I love to create new sketches, these are my latest quick and simple ones. Coupled with great papers and stamps from Kaisercraft, these quickies look good don't you think? I love to edge my cards...Kaisercraft Fusions are great for this. I used the chisel end of the black here, run it along the edge and it looks like you have a very fine mat! I love the butterfly stamps, (Kaisercraft Kaleidoscope Collection). The textured filling is awesome. On this card I embossed them in green!  Just a reminder that you can stamp onto patterned paper, cut and piece your element, (in this instance a Kaisercraft cupcake stamp). You don't always have to colour in your stamped imnages!

A great and surprisingly easy card! I love the rustic flower on the front of my card, again made from 1/4 sheet of paper and gently scrunched, inked and spritzed, so as well as easy....its cheap to make!

Absolutely love this story from Kaisercraft...........                                               A speedy layout that looks like I have taken ages!                                               A tea light candle card .... took a wee bit more time. I love to create card sketches and refer to my sketch layouts regularly. This is a super speedy old faithful! You don't have to always make complicated, expensive cards.....turn to your scraps! A twisted easel card. I made a die cut oval and slid some vellum in between the paper layers to create a window. The addition of a battery operated candles makes such a special card!

I thought this was a good idea. Sometimes (well, quite often!),  I want to put a handmde flower on a project as an embellishment and I can never remember all the ones I know how to make. I now have three flower canvases on my craft room wall,  I just glance up for inspiration! They look pretty too!

Jack ( now 15) was the most gorgeous little pirate!

Enjoyed colouring this new gorjuss card with a mix of copic and Kaiser Fusions.

A lovely stamp, some washi tape, a hand made black pearl flourish and some other scrappy bits, voila! A quick, easy and inexpensive card!
