10 Quick Christmas Cards
Ten Christmas ‘Quickies’
With Christmas just around the corner, I have ten beautiful ‘quickie’ Christmas cards that you can make in a few hours!
They are super easy and super fast, and …… I think they look great!
I have included a couple of ‘Quickie’ videos to help you along the way!
So let’s get started!
Ho, ho, ho!!
Step 1 – Gather your Supplies
PP1006 – ‘Glisten’ Paper Pad

FL583 Wooden Flourishes ‘Joy’

CD650 Smooth white cardstock
1 sheet

Gold and silver calligraphy markers.
|
Gold Ribbon
|
Step 2 – Gather Sustenance!
Chocolate – any brand will do, it is all SO yummy! This will give you energy and keep you happy!
|
A glass of wine! After all we need to keep our body hydrated when exercising our ‘crafty’ minds.
|
Or if you prefer…
a nice cup of tea, the caffeine will keep you going!

Step 3 – Time to Play!!
Card 1 – Merry & Bright
Instructions:
- Find background paper in paper pad. Cut to 10cm wide x 15cm tall.
- Edge with a silver marker and attach with tape to your white card front.
- Place and attach the ‘Merry & Bright’ sentiment and two gorgeous gold foil deer from the collectables pack.
Card 2. Celebrate the Magic of Christmas
Instructions:
- Find background paper in paper pad. Cut to 10cm wide x 15cm tall.
- Edge with a gold marker and attach with tape to your white card front.
- Cut the centre strip from the paper pad (find the glorious striped paper!). It should measure 10cm wide x approx 1.5cm tall. Attach to card front so the bottom of the strip is approx. 5cm up from the bottom of the white card.
- Edge the three baubles and black sentiment (found in the collectables pack) with gold marker. Attach with foam tape.
- Attach strips of ribbon with above baubles.
- Tie and attach little gold ribbons with crafts glue.
Card 3. Merry Christmas
Instructions:
- Find background paper in paper pad. Cut to 10cm wide x 15cm tall.
- Edge with a silver marker and attach with tape to your white card front.
- Select snowflakes from collectables, cutting some, attach to card front with craft glue.
- Finish with black sentiment from collectables.
Card 4. Joy, Peace, Love
Instructions:
- Find background paper in paper pad. Cut to 10cm wide x 15cm tall.
- Edge with a silver marker and attach with tape to your white card front.
- Find silver background mat and cut 8.5cm wide x 13cm tall and edge with silver marker. Roll top right corner (I use a skewer), attaching a scrap of paper behind so you see a pretty paper and not just a white back!. Attach to card front.
- From silver bauble paper cut a candle base 3cm wide x 10cm tall. Edge in silver and attach to card front.
- From music paper cut a candle base 2.5cm wide by 8cm tall. Edge in silver and attach to card front.
- From silver cross paper cut a candle base 2.5cm wide x 6cm tall. Edge in silver and attach.
- Freehand cut yellow flames from paper in paper pad, edge in silver and attach.
- Finish by attaching circle sentiment on foam tape and ‘Merry Christmas sentiment with tape. These will be found in the collectables.
Card 5. ‘Joy’
Instructions:
- Find music background paper in paper pad. Cut to 10cm wide x 15cm tall. Edge with a gold marker and attach with tape to your white card front.
- Cut striped paper 10cm wide x 5cm tall. Attach on top of music paper on bottom of card.
- Attach a strip of ribbon across the join.
- Cut gold star paper 6.5cm wide x 9.5cm tall. ‘Flag’ the bottom, edge in gold and attach.
- Attach sentiment (from collectables) with foam tape.
- Tie and attach a gold bow with craft glue.
- Finish card by attaching that gorgeous gold foil ‘joy’ sentiment from collectables.

Half way through, time for more sustanance!!

Make sure your fingers are clean, and lets get going. Christmas is coming!!

VIDEO
Card 6. Merry & Bright
Instructions:
- Find background paper and cover the whole of the card front. Edge with Gold marker.
- Cut gold/star paper 9.5cm wide x 14.5cm tall. Edge with gold marker and attach with double sided tape.
- Make and attach Christmas trees as detailed on video.
- Pop out sentiment from back of paper pad. Edge in gold marker and attach by applying craft glue to the ends. Attach so the middle is slighly cruved, hold in place until dry.
- Finish card by attaching gold star from ‘Joy’ Flourishes and some other little stars from your stash.
Card 7. ‘Shine with Joy’
Instructions:
- Find background paper in paper pad. Cut to 10cm wide x 15cm tall.
- Edge with a gold marker and attach with tape to your white card front, rolling the top right hand corner and slipping a scrap of card behind.
- Cut some stripe paper 10cm wide x 2cm tall. Edge with gold marker and attach to bottom of paper on card front. Attach some ribbon across the join.
- Attach circle elements and ‘Shine’ sentiment (from collectables) with foam tape.
- Finish card by tying and attaching small gold bows.
Card 8. ‘Wishing You a Merry Christmas’
Instructions:
- Find background paper in paper pad. Cut to 10cm wide x 15cm tall.
- Edge with a silver marker and attach with tape to your white card front.
- Pop out the scallop border from your paper pad and attach to the center of the card, cutting and overlapping to get the result in the picture.
- Attach gold ribbon on top of scallop border.
- Attach snowflake (from collectables).
- Finish card by edging sentiment circle ( from collectables) in silver and attaching with foam tape.
Card 9. Sparkle, Shimmer & Shine
Instructions:
- Find the beautiful gold glitter dot background paper in paper pad. Cut to 10cm wide x 15cm tall.
- Edge with a gold marker and attach with tape to your white card front.
- Pop out the gold bauble border from the back of the paper pad, edge with gold marker and attach.
- Edge ‘Sparkle & Shimmer’ element from collectables with gold marker and attach to a matt of gold bauble paper cut to just under 6cm square. Edge in gold. Attach to card front with foam tape.
- Finish card by attaching stars (from collectables – some have been cut in half).

Time for a little break. Sit back and enjoy this little technique, it is used on the final card!
Card 10. ‘The Best Gift’
Instructions:
- Cut a 10cm x 15cm piece of smooth white cardstock.
- Watch the video and create a “Herringbone ” background and attach it to your C6 white card base.
- Finish card by attaching sentiment and gold deer from collectables.
