Lacey Edge Die
Hi everyone. Today I have a beautiful card that is easy to create with a few nice techniques!
I have fallen in love with the new
DD757 Card Creations Die Lace Borders! They are versatile and
beautifully lacey. To make this card I simply cut my CD602 premium ivory
cardstock, (if you have not tried this, seriously consider it; the
colour and texture are beautiful!), to 8 1/2″ wide and 6 1/4″ tall. Die
cut each end, (it might need a few passes), folded it in half to form a
card and then folded the front back. I heat embossed the text stamp in
gold and continued with the gold theme with paper from the story book
collection. The paper bloom was sprayed with adhesive and then sprinkled
in gold micro glitter, (I was glittering all evening lol!). The circle
sentiment acts as a closure with the fold slipping behind it when
closed. I photographed my card agains a beautiful woodgrain paper so you
could see the detail of the die. The paper is also from the ‘Story Book
collection – P2065 Library Card.
